Tree and Shadow, Monte Alban, Oaxaca, Mexico. The strong shadow of this tree on the sandy background is what drew my eye to this scene. I was standing on top of one of the ancient ruins at Monte Alban in Oaxaca, Mexico. The perspective is not unlike the perspective I get with one of my kite aerial shots, however this was taken instead from a high vantage point but on the ground.
