Kite Aerial Photography (KAP).
Skating on Dow's Lake at Bronson Bridge. Ottawa is well known for skating in winter on the Rideau Canal and Dow's Lake. There is also an annual event called Winterlude during which the canal and skating is a large component. The year I took this picture, I failed at 3 attempts to raise a camera with my kite to take this shot during the Winterlude festivities. Instead I had to return the following week to make this kite aerial photograph of skaters on Dow's Lake.
